Last May, we traveled to Ethiopia to capture the chain of events that unfold after a goat is donated to a family through the gift catalogue programme. Named, “The Butterfly Effect,” the spot chronicles a young woman’s life from the moment her family receives a goat. It goes on to showcase her thriving in school, selling produce at the local market and eventually becoming a doctor. It really is remarkable the impact a single goat can have over the course of a lifetime and the spot aims to capture the full expanse a single donation can have for someone in need. The spot was filmed in Ethiopia over a timeline of 12 days.
